Sharing the Farm:
At Adama Farm, we are committed to growing high quality organic produce for you while sharing an interactive farm experience. We ask that you respect the farm and all its components (farmers, other CSA subscribers, plants, animals, insects and soils).
Risks and Rewards of the Season:
By Joining our CSA, you agree to share the rewards of a bountiful harvest as well as the many risks (weather, plant diseases and pests, weeds, crop failures) we face each season. Because we are a new farm, we anticipate that crop failures or absences we experience can be compensated by the surplus of another produce item. Your commitment, partnership and understanding make our work at the farm possible - so thank you for joining us!
Know HOW your food is grown:
While Adama Farm is not (yet) Certified Organic, we do not use any chemicals or sprays of any kind. Instead, we build soil and plant health through no-till farming methods, compost, natural amendments, cover cropping and crop rotation. While all of the produce you receive in your weekly share has been washed at the farm, the occasional insect or pocket of soil sneaks by us. Don’t be alarmed! Just rinse and move on.
Pickup Location:
CSA pickup will take place at Adama Farm.
Precise location is TBD.
By having CSA pickup on the farm, you get to enjoy the environment where your food is grown. CSA members are welcome to take a walk through the farm (please stay on the wood-chip paths) and enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature.
We recommend bringing your own grocery / tote bag if you’d like to transfer your veggies from our boxes to your reusable tote. If you prefer to take home the pre-packaged box, please make sure to return the box the following week.
Rescheduling Your Pickup Day:
We offer 2 weekly pickup days to accommodate your schedule:
Tuesdays 1-4pm
Thursdays 4-7pm
If you need to reschedule your pickup or if you are running late, please email adamafarmllc@gmail.com and we will do our best to accommodate.
Refund and Cancellation Policy:
All sales are final. You may cancel your subscription at any time; however, we cannot issue any refunds.
