Farm Stroll & Pear Picking

We’re excited to announce that Adama Farm is one of the featured stops in the McHenry County Farm Stroll 2025! This free, self-guided tour is your chance to explore some local, unique farms, and we’d love to welcome you to ours.

What’s Happening at Adama Farm:

  • Pear Picking: Wander our Asian Pear orchard and pick your own fresh, ripe pears to take home.

  • Guided Farm Tours: Learn about our no-till, organic-practicing methods & see what’s growing in the fields!

  • Farm Store Open: Stock up on seasonal produce, fresh flowers, and farm-made goods.

Know Before You Go:

  • Wear comfortable shoes — you’ll be walking through fields, orchards, and uneven terrain.

  • Dress for the weather and consider a hat, sunscreen, and reusable water bottle.

  • Pear picking is first come, first served while supplies last.

  • Parking is available on-site; please follow signs and volunteer directions.

The Farm Stroll is a wonderful way to connect with local agriculture, meet your farmers, and enjoy a day outdoors with family and friends. Whether you’re here for the fruit, the flowers, or the fresh air — we can’t wait to see you!
