Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)
What is a CSA Subscription?
When you join our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program, you’re committing to local agriculture by sharing the risks and rewards of the farming season with us. Each week you’ll arrive at the farm or at one of our pickup locations to pick up your share of fresh, seasonal produce grown by our farm crew. But it is more than just receiving fresh veggies; by prepaying for your season’s worth of fresh food, you’re helping us cover the cost of seeds and supplies we need early in the season. In return, we’ll reward you with the best variety and quality of produce we have to offer all season long!
Is a CSA Share Right for you?
Ask yourself these questions:
Is eating with the seasons important to you?
Do you value fresh locally grown vegetables and knowing the farmers who grow your food?
Do you enjoy cooking creatively in the kitchen with unique vegetable varieties?
Can you prep your harvest for storage and preserve it by canning, freezing, pickling or fermenting?
Will you enjoy and have time to stop by the farm each week or one of our pickup locations to pick up your CSA share?
Do you wish to support local agriculture?
You’d enjoy our CSA if you answered YES to most of these questions!
Small Shares vs Large Shares:
Small shares are perfect for individuals or couples. The small share contains 6-8 items of farm fresh produce.
Large shares are ideal for families. The large share contains 8-11 items of farm fresh produce.
All shares are pre-packaged the week of pick-up. Because our shares are pre-packaged with fresh grown veggies, we encourage you to embrace and try new veggies that you’ll be receiving all season long!
